Passionate about running or just a casual jogger, it’s time to sign up for France Run, which will take place on Sunday, August 19 in Central Park.

Starting at 8:00am, runners will depart from East Drive at East 67th Street for an 8K course. People young and old are all invited to participate in this event highlighting Franco-American friendship. Special circuits are planned for children from 2 to 12 years old. The race was created in 2015 by two French running enthusiasts, Christine Goubet and Sébastien Baret.

Registration should be done on the New York Road Runners website. For all those who do not want to put on a race jersey and embark on the course, you can still come support the runners and participate in the many activities offered for the occasion, including music and giveaways like a flight to Paris.
