At 85 years old, D’yan Forest could be spending her days playing golf in the Hamptons. Granted, she is, but this Francophile New Yorker has more to do than that.

A raunchy, ukulele-playing comedian, Forest has been performing stand-up shows in Paris and New York for the last several years. After a stint at La Nouvelle Seine in Paris, she’s brought her show “Swinging on the Seine: Searching for Amour in 1960s Paris” to the Duplex Cabaret Theatre in New York on November 10 at 4 p.m.

Forest went to Paris in the 60s after getting divorced and found herself working the cabaret scene to great success. Though she certainly immersed herself in the glamour of the city, she also had quite a few culture shocks and scandals along the way — and she’s lived to tell about it.

The show is cowritten by Forest and British writer Stephen Clarke, best known for his bestselling A Year in the Merde series. Clarke will open the show.

Tickets, available for purchase here, are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
