Norwegian Air has officially announced a July 29th launch for its new low-cost direct flights between Paris and the United States.

Norwegian will offer four weekly flights between Charles de Gaulle and JFK airports (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), two weekly flights between Paris and Los Angeles, and a weekly flight between Paris and Fort Lauderdale.

Tickets are on sale now, and Norwegian promises fares from $175 one-way, taxes included (however, for August and September, most flights are priced around $250 to $300, or about $550 round trip). Flights will be on Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

In less than three years, the Oslo company has launched direct routes between the United States and Oslo, London, Stockholm and Copenhagen. This winter, they also started direct flights between three U.S. cities (New York, Boston, Baltimore) and the French Antilles (Guadeloupe and Martinique).

The company, which has grown tremendously in Europe over the past five years, recorded a 15% growth in 2015. It carried 26 million passengers during the year, 7% more than in 2014 .
