Clooney Slams Trump in César Acceptance Speech… With a Little Help

Not only is George Clooney suave, he’s also pretty sly.

While accepting his honorary César award at the February 24th César Awards Clooney found the perfect way to make fun of President Donald Trump with the help of his “translator,” the French actor, director and comedian Jean Dujardin.

While making a perfectly noble and heartfelt speech in English, Dujardin translated Clooney’s words to the French audience… with a little editing.

“Over the course of my career I’ve had the great fortune of working with some incredible filmmakers who have inspired me and taught me what an honor it is to work in film,” said Clooney.

Donald Trump is a danger to the world,” translated Dujardin.

The best part about the hilarious speech and it’s not-so-hidden message is that Trump would never be able to understand it, since he doesn’t speak any foreign languages.
