Americans love French musician Christine and the Queens. All the more reason to rush to get your tickets to her next show in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, November 4th at 9:30 p.m.

The Frenchwoman Héloïse Letissier, recognized by Time Magazine as one of the leaders of the next generation, is about to release her deeply mysterious second album, “Chris.” Her previous album, “La Chaleur humaine,” became an immediate success in 2014. The following year, she won two Victoires de la Musique awards, and the album was diamond certified. The star, who plays with the constructs of gender, announced that her new album will be “sweatier and harder” than the previous, with faster beats. Letissier also cut her hair for the occasion, as if to create another identity for herself. “Chris” will be released internationally in mid-September.
