Chanel Creates Eiffel Tower for Fall/Winter Couture Show

A group of people standing in front of a building

Chanel stunned us all with their Fall/Winter 2017 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week this week by recreating a smaller version of the Eiffel Tower in the hall of the Grand Palais.

The tower took six weeks to make and was identical to the tower made by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Universal Exhibition (although not as tall of course!).

Not only did Chanel create the stunning tower, but Karl Lagerfeld‘s turn of the century themed collection was classy, gorgeous, and a return to a more sophisticated period of time. Hats, feathers, sequins—they had it all, and it was amazing.
