Where to Celebrate Thanksgiving in Paris

Spending Thanksgiving away from the US may seem like it’ll be a let-down, but it’s actually the opposite in Paris. Though still very traditionally French, this city’s restaurants have adapted to cater to American expats who still have those yearly cravings for roast turkey and gravy. Here are nine place you can go in Paris to find some Thanksgiving holiday spirit (and don’t forget to make reservations!).

1. American Church in Paris

If you’re looking for a traditionally American Thanksgiving dinner in Paris, look no further: the American Church in Paris is hosting a classic holiday meal, including turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie on Saturday, November 24th at 5:30 p.m. For those also interested in participating in the holiday without a meal, the church will host a service on Thursday, November 22nd at 12:15 p.m. to celebrate American heritage. —65 quai d’Orsay, 75007

2. Harry’s New York Bar

Though more so a bar than a restaurant, Harry’s New York Bar is ideal for an adult Thanksgiving in a classic American setting. Last year, they served a special Thanksgiving-themed cocktail called the “Thanksbasil,” and we’re excited to see what special drinks they concoct this year. —5 Rue Daunou, 75002
