Postcard-perfect, open-air markets aren’t exclusive to France: the 16th Annual Georgetown French Market, presented by the Georgetown Business Improvement District, is coming back from Friday, April 26, to Sunday, April 28.

More than 35 merchants will participate in this free public event that marks the arrival of spring, including locally-owned boutiques, antique dealers, restaurants, bakeries and galleries, including A Mano, Bacchus Wine Cellar, Egg New York Boutique Clothing, and Lili The First. Be on the lookout for special offers and discount on select products.

Also on the itinerary is a solid lineup of performances. On Saturday, there will be live performances by the jazz groups Bitter Dose Combo (11 a.m.) and Djangolaya (11:30 a.m.) and French jazz group Veronneau (2 p.m.), and the jazz group Laissez Foure is scheduled to perform on Sunday (12 p.m.). Children-friendly activities will be available on both days.
