Frenchly’s beloved founder and publisher French Morning kicked off their 10th anniversary festivities on Sunday with a big day at the farm celebration. Nearly 1,000 guests flocked to North Brooklyn Farms to bask in the glory (ahem, sun) that is 10 successful years. The superb view from the shore of the East River from below the Williamsburg bridge did not disappoint. Thanks to all those who came out, the readers, and those who made this day possible.
The day was divided into two parts: an afternoon of tastings with 10 French chefs (Claude Godard- Madison Bistro, Hervé Malivert, Luc Holie- Jubilée, Pascal Petiteau- Bistro Vendôme, Pierre Landet- Félix, Chef Conrad- White Toque Frozen Foods, Eric Girerd- L’Atelier du Chocolat, Florian Bellanger– Mad Mac Macarons, Laurent Dupal– CECI-CELA Pâtisserie, Jean-Jacques Bernat- Provence en boîte), then a dinner under the stars with 80 guests, everyone’s tastebuds regaled by a tasting menu prepared by chef Laurent Kalkotour (L’Atrium, Beast and Bottles).
Thanks to our sponsors GoGo SqueeZ, Maître Cuisiniers de France, Académie Culinaire, Evian, Cristel, Château d’Esclans, Valrhona, Château d’Esclans, Château Lamothe Vincent, Bella Bella Gourmet Foods, Markovic Estates, and Le French Tart, and to all the musicians who set the mood, Chloé Coeur de Français, French Inventory, François Wiss, Sylvie Boisel, Matthieu Eveillard, Yarnell , So French Cabaret, our MC David Serero, and special guest Yoann FreeJay. There’s still time to vote for your favorite group or artist. The performer with the most votes will have a performance slot at a large concert organized by French Morning.
