How to Arrange a Cheese Platter

A cake with fruit on top of a table

The season of holiday parties is upon us! And if you’re wondering what you can bring to a holiday party that will blow all your friends and relatives away while making you seem like the sophisticated adult that you are, we have just the thing: A French cheese board.

But putting together a French cheese board is not as easy as it sounds. Not only do you need access to a good fromagerie, but you also need to know the best cheeses to pick and the etiquette that goes in to cutting and serving them.

Not everyone knows that each type of cheese has a different way to cut it in order to be the most polite, so French Country Home blogger Sharon Santoni met up with Amaury de Tilly, owner of the Normandy B&B, Les Hautes Sources to learn the best cheese platter etiquette.

Impress everyone at your holiday parties by learning the art of the cheese board.
