American Kids Try French Pastries

A child looking at the camera

It’s true that not every food critic can be Anthony Bourdain. But honestly, a little unbiased opinion on food from the unlikeliest of sources can be more entertaining than whatever cooking show CNN is pushing this season.

In this hilarious react video, a panel of tiny Americans make a definitive verdict on a selection of French pastries made by a local French patisserie in Los Angeles. If you haven’t gotten enough of loudmouthed kids who know way too much about the culinary arts from watching Chopped Junior, then this is your next laugh.

Lucas, Tida, and the other little tots try chocolate éclairs, madeleines, salted caramel macarons, canelés, and tropéziennes, and weigh in on the good, the bad, and the yucky. Are you jealous (and hungry for pastries) yet?
