Ah, festival season — a time where we subject ourselves to the blistering heat, get too close to people we don’t know, and stand for so long we wonder if our feet will fall off (all in the name of music). Although summer is moving faster than we’d like, there are still tons of music festivals happening in Paris with artists so good you’ll forget about your aching feet.
This beach-themed festival, which started at the beginning of June, will continue until September 29th. Chill out on the deck chairs that line the man-made beach, grab a snack from the food trucks, and enjoy the free folk and rock concerts held every Wednesday, as well as the club that fills the outside space from Thursday to Saturday nights with techno and dance music. Check their website for performances and buy tickets here.
This musically diverse festival will return for its 17th year this summer from August 24th to 26th. Join over 100,000 music lovers at the Parc National de Saint-Cloud just west of Paris to see the performances from the likes of Die Antwoord, Macklemore, and Post Malone. Tickets here.
Since 2002, this Paris festival has been serving as the perfect summer/fall transition. From August 30 to September 9th, experience an impressive line-up that combines jazz, hip-hop, soul, and funk music with performances from artists like Janelle Monáe, Salif Keita, and Selah Sue. Tickets here.
Every weekend from August 11th to September 2nd, Classique au Vert welcomes both amateur and well-known classical artists in the heart of the beautiful Parc Floral in Paris. The concerts are free, with just a small fee to enter the park.
This fall, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris offers a line-up showcasing international music from the indie scene. From November 1st through November 3, you can see performances from headliners Mac Demarco, Fever Ray, and Bon Iver at La Grande Halle De La Villette Paris. Tickets here.
