My life is always a little less glamorous after awards season, without the constant barrage of “Best Dressed” slideshows on my Facebook feed. Luckily, just as I start to realize this loss in my life, the Cannes Film Festival comes around. Glamor is back.
Located on the French Riviera, the town of Cannes is a perfectly picturesque luxury beach destination. But ever since the start of the film festival in 1946, the town has been synonymous with beautiful actresses in haute couture.
Today, you’re not a star if you’re not at Cannes, and while the festival still aims to celebrate the art of international cinema, it also doubles as a place for Kim Kardashian to sparkle for the after parties.
